About Glass Aisle
Glass Aisle audits how well AI shopping agents can find, understand and buy from a Shopify store, and shows the evidence behind every finding.
What we do
Shopping agents like ChatGPT and Gemini now browse stores for buyers. To recommend a product, they have to reach a store's pages, read its product data and policies, and find a way to checkout. Glass Aisle checks the 25 things they rely on, scores the store out of 100 and says what to fix first.
How the audit works
Our crawler, GlassAisleBot, reads a store's public pages the way an agent does. It follows robots.txt, identifies itself in every request, and never logs in, submits a form or places an order. Software measures 23 of the checks directly. An AI model judges the other 2, and it has to quote the text on the store's pages that it relied on. Every finding in a report links to a screenshot or the page code behind it, so anyone can check it. The methodology lists every check and what it's worth.
What we don't claim
A score measures whether agents can reach and understand a store. It doesn't promise more sales, better rankings or a recommendation from any AI assistant, since those also depend on price, reviews and demand. We aren't affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Anthropic or Shopify.
Who runs it
Glass Aisle is a product of Horizon Digital Ventures, LLC, a Delaware company. The free snapshot and the paid reports are described on the pricing page, and the contact page says how to reach us. We never sell data, and the privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.
