Terms of service

Glass Aisle is a product of Horizon Digital Ventures, LLC, a Delaware company ("we"). These terms cover the free snapshot, the reports you buy and our implementation retainer. By running an audit or buying from us, you agree to them.

What we provide

Glass Aisle audits how well AI shopping agents can find, understand and buy from an online store, and reports what it found with the evidence for each finding. Software runs the checks, and an AI model judges the ones that need reading comprehension, quoting the text it relied on. Our methodology lists every check.

What a report is, and isn't

A report describes what our crawler could read on the day it ran. It is information to help you decide what to fix, not advice you must follow. A higher score doesn't guarantee more sales, better rankings or a recommendation from any AI assistant, since those also depend on price, reviews and demand. We aren't affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Anthropic or Shopify.

How we read your store

Our crawler, GlassAisleBot, reads public pages only, follows robots.txt and never logs in, submits a form or places an order. A full report's cart and checkout tests open one cart link and the checkout it leads to, and only when the store's owner has authorized them. Ask for audits only of stores you run or work for, or that you have a business reason to review.

  • Reports are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, at the price shown at checkout. Payments are in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your card issuer converts the amount and may charge its own fee.
  • A full report includes one re-scan within 60 days, and the benchmark report two within 90 days. Once those are used or their time has passed, you can buy another re-scan for $49. If it doesn't finish, we refund it in full automatically, and otherwise it isn't refundable.
  • If we can't deliver a paid report within 24 hours, or the audit fails twice, we refund you in full automatically. If you pay for the same report twice within 30 days, we refund the second payment in full.

Refunds

If a report isn't useful to you, ask for a refund within 14 days of delivery, using the link in the delivery email. You don't need to give a reason. This applies to one report per store in 12 months.

We refund what you paid minus Stripe's processing fee, which Stripe doesn't return when a payment is refunded. The refund page shows the exact amount before you confirm. The fee is about:

  • $7.52 on the full report ($249) with a US card, and $11.26 with a card issued elsewhere.
  • $13.32 on the full report with the competitor benchmark ($449) with a US card, and $20.06 with a card issued elsewhere.

A later request, or a second one for the same store, goes to our team, who may make an exception. A refund goes back to your original payment method and usually shows within 5 to 10 business days.

Implementation retainer

Once you have a full report, you can hire our team to make its fixes on a monthly retainer. While it runs, we make the fixes in your report and re-audit your store every month.

  • It costs $2,000 a month, charged in US dollars through Stripe on the day you start it and then on the same day each month.
  • The first 3 months are a minimum. After them, it renews every month until you cancel it on the billing page linked in our emails, and it ends when the last month you paid for ends.
  • Months already billed aren't refunded, including a month you cancel partway through.
  • If a month's payment doesn't go through, we email you and Stripe tries your card again. If it still hasn't gone through 14 days later, the retainer ends.
  • We start within 5 business days of your first payment. To make changes, we need access to your store, which you can remove at any time.

Using your report

You may use your report inside your business and share it with the people who help you, such as your developers or agency. Please don't resell it.

Fair use

Please don't automate requests to the form, get around its limits, or use the service to harm a store. We may refuse or stop audits that break these terms.

Limits on our liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the report or the retainer it concerns.

Privacy

Our privacy policy says what we collect and how to have it deleted.

The rest

Delaware law governs these terms. If they change, the new version will be on this page with the date it took effect, and it applies to audits and purchases from that date. Questions go to hello@glassaisle.com.
